At the HUB, we aim to promote indigenous innovation. We remain open throughout the year for innovative ideas. The potential ideas are peer reviewed and assessed for the novelty/feasibility and provided financial support.
Prototype Design & Development
An early sample, model, or release of a product built to test a concept or process. Prototyping serves to provide specifications for a real, working system rather than a theoretical one. At HUB, we have created separate labs for all kinds of prototyping:
A Proof-of-Principle Prototype serves to verify some key functional aspects of the intended design.
Working Prototype represents all or nearly all of the functionality of the final product.
A Visual Prototype represents the size and appearance, but not the functionality, of the intended design.
A User Experience Prototype represents enough of the appearance and function of the product that it can be used for user experience.
A Functional Prototype captures both function and appearance of the intended design, though it may be created with different techniques and even different scale from the final design.

Validation guidelines for ‘biomedical devices’ can be very confusing when It is critical to validate devices that carry the threat of injury or death if they were to malfunction, such as those used in surgery. Unlike pharmaceutical products, Lack of a proper guideline for ‘biomedical devices’ adds more to the validation problem. At the HUB, we have a large & diverse team of experienced professionals who are working towards specific problems in a holistic manner

Research & Training
Having an excellent clinical setup, we aim to train the researchers, innovators about validating and using the biomedical devices in a clinical setup
From time-to-time, we conduct workshop and internal training to learn and educate more about medical devices. We are planning to have more interactive learning classes targeting a significant no. of researchers and people associated with the medical field.

We have In-house ‘patent searching’ facility capable to deliver any solution to your IP needs. The in-house patent agent take care of all patent drafting, prosecution and prior art search services.
